• Mother Gayatri is regarded as the Mother of the four Vedas.

2. Method of Performing the Aarti

A Simple Method for Home or Temple:

• Bathe in the morning and wear clean clothes (preferably white or yellow).
• Install an idol or picture of Mother Gayatri.
• Light a ghee lamp (Diya) and offer incense sticks (Dhup/Agarbatti).
• Offer flowers, *Akshat* (unbroken rice grains), and water.
• Chant the Gayatri Mantra (at least 11, 21, or 108 times).
• Perform the Aarti with deep devotion—
