Rudra Gayatri Mantra - Powerful Vedic Chant for Divine Blessings

Om tatpuruṣaay vidmahe mahaadevaay dheemahi
 tanno rudrah prachodayaat॥

Translation of the Mantra
This mantra is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered as powerful as the "Mahamrityunjaya Mantra". It means:
Om Tatpurushaya Vidmahe: We know the Supreme Being (Shiva).
Mahadevaya Dheemahi: We meditate on Mahadeva (the great god).
Tanno Rudra Prachodayat: May Rudra (a form of Lord Shiva) inspire us.

Om. Let me meditate on the great Purusha, O greatest Lord, give me higher intellect, and let Lord Rudra enlighten my mind.
