- Maa Brahmacharini holds a rosary in her right hand and a kamandalu in her left. She is a symbol of penance and devotion.

- Her worship increases penance, knowledge, and detachment.
Method of worship
- After bathing in the morning, take a vow to fast.
- Purify the idol/picture of Goddess Brahmacharini with Ganga water and offer flowers.
- Offer incense, lamps, and naivedya.
- Chant the Brahmacharini Mantra:
Om Devi Brahmacharini Namah
- Reciting the Navdurga Stotra and Durga Saptashati is considered auspicious.
