Om Namah Shivaya॥
Translation of the Mantra
O Shiva! I salute you again and again. Victory to you.
I bow to Shiva, the Supreme Reality and the Inner Self, the name given to the consciousness that resides within all beings.
Om Namah Shivaya is a very sacred and powerful Panchakshari Mantra dedicated to Lord Shiva.
It simply means
"I bow to Lord Shiva" or "My salutations to Lord Shiva."
Each word of the mantra holds a special significance:
Om — The sound of the universe, symbolizing the Almighty.
Namah — Bowing or surrender.
Shivaya — For Shiva, who is benevolent and provides peace.
