Once upon a time, there lived a very glorious and kind king in a city, the subjects there were very happy with his reign, the king had great faith in Maa Bhagwati and used to worship Maa Bhagwati daily, despite having a huge amount of wealth, the king was yearning for a child. The king became somewhat disappointed due to childlessness for years. Pleased with his devotion and faith, Maa Bhagwati (Maa Bhagwati), one day appeared in his dream and blessed him with two daughters. Some time after this divine intervention, a daughter was born to the king, the king was extremely happy, he organized a grand feast, the entire palace was decorated with grand decorative materials, the king showed his daughter to the astrologers to prepare the horoscope, the astrologer after seeing her horoscope said Rajan your daughter is the incarnation of the Goddess herself, and wherever she goes her presence will bring infinite happiness. The king named her Tara with great reverence. When the time came, another daughter was born to the king on Tuesday. When the astrologers checked his horoscope, they were filled with sadness. When the king asked them about their sadness, they told him that Rajan your second daughter will bring immense sadness in your life. The king was very disappointed to hear this, he asked the astrologers the reason for this, on which the astrologers told that both his daughters were once Apsaras in the court of King Indra. The elder sister's name was Tara and the younger one's name was Rukman. One day, they both came to earth and decided to keep Ekadashi fast at a place. Tara asked her younger sister to buy fresh fruits from the nearby market and instructed her not to eat anything in the market when she goes to the market, because today is Ekadashi fast. On the instructions of her elder sister, Rukman went to the market to buy fruits. While she was buying fruits from the market, she saw fish pakoras being made at a place nearby, due to which she felt like eating fish pakoras and then she kept the fruit there and ate the fish pakoras. Then she went back to her sister Tara without taking the fruit. When Tara saw her without fruit, she asked why she had not brought any fruit. In response, Rukman said that she had eaten fish pakoras, which made Tara angry. She accused her sister of committing a sin by eating fish on the day of Ekadashi and as a punishment cursed her to turn into a lizard. As a result of Tara's curse, Rukman started living in the forest as a lizard. In the same forest, the famous saint Guru Gorakh lived with his disciples, one of whom was extremely arrogant. Due to his ego, he sat alone in a water pot filled with water and meditated. Just then a thirsty cow came there. The cow put her mouth in the water pot kept next to the disciple and drank the water. When the cow removed her head from the water pot, the water pot fell on the ground, which disturbed the meditation of the disciple.
